Liberty Street Kitchen is a casual bistro celebrating modern rural living and offering contemporary comfort cuisine with a local focus. The menu showcases refined salads, entrées, sandwiches and more alongside signature cocktails, craft beer and a thoughtful wine list. Featuring a comfortably elegant dining room, bustling bar and robust private dining capabilities, Liberty Street Kitchen is Pella’s gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
Alex Gabrielson / General Manager
A native of Belmond in north central Iowa, Alex attended culinary school in Chicago, returning to Iowa and working in leading kitchens around the Des Moines metro before joining the Liberty Street Kitchen team in 2019. Outside of the restaurant, Alex enjoys spending time with family in Pella, cheering for Chicago sports teams and local league bowling.
